Women’s and pregnancy care with Dr. Augustin Kourouma

Dr. Augustin Kourouma, gynecologist-obstetrician, joins the Medical SOS team with over 40 years of experience in general medicine and gynecology.

Trained in Liberia and France, notably at Claude Bernard University in Lyon, he practiced for more than 25 years in Gabon, both in the public and private sectors. His career has enabled him to develop comprehensive expertise covering:

• gynecological consultations,
• pregnancy follow-up,
• deliveries,
• obstetric and gynecological surgery.
  
  

At Medical SOS, Dr. Kourouma supports women with an approach based on listening, medical rigor, and trust, at every stage of their journey.

Child medical care with our pediatrician

Dr. Diallo Camara, pediatrician, joins the Medical SOS team with more than 40 years of experience in pediatrics gained in France.

Specialized in neonatology, general pediatrics, and pediatric emergencies, she has dedicated her career to the health and well-being of infants, children, and adolescents.

Her support includes:

• pediatric follow-up from birth to adolescence,
• monitoring of growth and development,
• assessment of psychomotor and language development,
• prevention and management of common childhood illnesses,
• specific follow-up for infants, especially in cases of prematurity.
  
  

Within Medical SOS, Dr. Diallo Camara works closely with the pediatric nurse to provide families with comprehensive support, combining medical expertise, attentive listening, and practical guidance to best support child health and development.

Perinatal support with Sandra, pediatric nurse

Sandra, a pediatric nurse, joins Medical SOS by AMS to offer perinatal support focused on infant well-being and parental support.

With more than 8 years of experience in pediatric intensive care, pediatric emergencies, neonatology, and maternal and child health services, she has worked in multicultural healthcare environments in mainland France and Mayotte.

Her support includes:

• breastfeeding support,
• introduction of complementary feeding,
• infant follow-up and weight monitoring consultations,
• observation of psychomotor and language development,
• support for crying, colic, and sleep,
• baby massage workshops to strengthen parent-child bonding.
  
  

Her role is to listen, advise, prevent, identify when necessary, and guide families toward appropriate medical follow-up, in a caring approach complementary to the Medical SOS healthcare offering.
